Caboolture’s merry men of alt rock, Interism have offered up their latest EP, ‘3 Piece Feed’ - three killer tracks of tasty, fried Australian alternative grunge punk, ready for consumption.
Interism have been purveyors of nostalgic alternative rock, particularly that with a 90s Australian alt tone, for some time, and ‘3 Piece Feed’ is an extension of their previous offerings (the single, ‘Honestly’, and the full length album, ‘Avondale St’). There’s nothing over-cooked in this sonic meal, stripping it back to guitar(s), drums, bass and vocals. It’s pure volume, sweat and good ol’ mosh-ready grunge-y punk rock in the vein of Bodyjar, NOFX, and Gyroscope.
