In times of strangeness, it can either bring some dark, broody art, or it can deliver some super-fun sounds to perk you up.
Karrie Hayward, AKA Karlou has gone with the latter, bringing a super boppy indie-pop track in ‘Grew Up’. The Sunny Coaster birthed the track from a love of nostalgic pop hooks and catchy lyrics, with the meaning behind the song being about realness and sharing the vulnerable side of one’s self, despite the setbacks and negativity you may have.

I wrote this song to encourage them to be the person they want to be and I hope they find the strength to do that”.
