Sydney alt-rock outfit Second Idol deliver gritty 90s-inspired film clip to their single, 'Out of Time'

Following on the release of their debut EP ‘Defence Mechanisms’, Sydney based alternative-rock quartet Second Idol have just revealed the accompanying video clip for the EP’s focus track ‘Out Of Time’ – filmed by Cam Davies, directed and edited by band member Maxine Gillon.

Shot at Good Loco in Marrickville, the clip depicts the band performing the song against a white back drop, with grainy VHS effects creating a 90’s aesthetic. Featuring quick transitions and a range of filming techniques, the music video’s candidness faultlessly matches the song’s production and emotion.

Muules bring post-apocalyptic teddy bear nightmare to new clip, ‘Unabated’

Following the release of the latest track, ‘Unabated’ at the end of February, Sunshine Coast alt-rock trio Muules have taken the theme of against-all-odds relationships, and given it a post-apocalyptic twist for the accompanying film clip.

Adding a touch of B-grade horror-style theatrics, the film clip sees the young female protagonist (played by bassist Rhys’ 10 year-old daughter, Olivia) journey a bleak landscape on the search for her missing teddy bear, held captive by feral toys.
