'Hold' on to something... Dear Willow's got a crackin' new tune and film clip
Hold on to your hats, readers... one of our favourite singer/songwriters (and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet) Dear Willow has released a new track and film clip.
'Hold' sees a slight change in direction for Dear Willow (Em-J Dau), and sees her ditching the acoustic for a more electric feel, and we're digging it.
The new single is a cautionary lament documenting the artist’s experiences of frustration in feeling simultaneously stuck, and rushed forward, with the gentle undertones of a friend breaking bad news.
This latest release has a tapestry of intricate layers whilst the focus still remains on Dear Willow's original foundations. The result is soulful, melodically organic and unapologetically real.
'Hold' was recorded at Sunny Coast Studios with Unboxed Studios engineer, mixed and mastered by Angus Woodhead at Glasshouse Studios, while the film clip was created by Nick Hargans Media, with thanks to Sunshine Coast Council and the Regional Artists Development Fund (RADF)
Dear Willow's new track can be streamed on Spotify, and purchased on iTunes.
