NEW RELEASE - Karlou brings the feel-good pop with new single, 'Grew Up'

In times of strangeness, it can either bring some dark, broody art, or it can deliver some super-fun sounds to perk you up.

Karrie Hayward, AKA Karlou has gone with the latter, bringing a super boppy indie-pop track in ‘Grew Up’. The Sunny Coaster birthed the track from a love of nostalgic pop hooks and catchy lyrics, with the meaning behind the song being about realness and sharing the vulnerable side of one’s self, despite the setbacks and negativity you may have.

Teaming up with Brad Hosking of Blind Boy Studios, ‘Grew Up’ sucked in all the quirkiness and fun from those sessions, including a sound grab of Karlou making toast in the studio.
