Known for their raw and fuller take on ‘guitar-less’ alternative/prog rock, Sunshine Coast trio Muules have done a Fooey’s and dared to strip back their rock sound to show that they, too, can go (semi) acoustic with new track, ‘Usherette’ .

It’s a new take on a song that’s been a constant in their live sets, but swapping electric bass for semi-acoustic, and stripping back the fuzz and distortion, showing off a more haunting take on the rockier track.

Byron Bay's Tora 'Can't Buy The Mood' announce tour, local supports - playing Solbar on Feb 15.

Byron Bay’s Tora have released a deluxe album edition of the the richly-textured second album, ‘Can’t But The Mood’ - which contains two added B-sides as well as a raft of carefully-curated remixes from producers around the world (including Sydney’s Two Another).

The deluxe edition release is being supported by a national tour starting next week with Sydney and the band’s hometown Byron Bay. These will be the last shows at home in Australia for some time, as the band have also announced plans to take the album over to South America, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe, for extensive touring in 2020, with plenty more live dates to announce.

You can catch them locally at Solbar on February 15, with supports Christian Patey, and Keelan Mac.
