AlfanAnt are feelin' 'Lucky' with new release

Alt- folk-country duo, AlfanAnt (Ant McKenna and Alf)  are rounding out their EP with the release of title track Lucky. Pretty appropriate as 2018 has thrown so many wonderful surprises the duo’s way. Including a #1 spot on the Triple J Unearthed blues and roots chart, finalists at the Queensland Music Awards, a headline spot at the upcoming Neurum Creek Folk Festival (with several other festival spots yet to be announced!) and an East Coast tour already locked in for early 2019 with Tasmanian alt/country rockers Cotton Pony!

CLOWNS aren't foolin' around with new single and tour - playing Solbar in September

'Freezing In The Sun’ is a taste of what is yet to come from Clowns. The new single sees bright and jangly guitars juxtaposed with politicised lyrics of discontent. The lyrics demanding ‘tell me what the fuck I am supposed to do, when I know my taxes are paying for kids to be held in Nauru’, coupled with the dreamy and mesmerising chorus sung by bassist Hanny J.

Groove Roots dudes, DOSED set to release debut single on June 29th

South East Queensland’s up and coming trio, Dosed, are set to release their first single “Too Crazy”.

The track was originally written by the lead singer and guitarist as an application for admittance
into university, but has since evolved into something they all put forward to debut. The group
feel it best encapsulates the energy at a live show, and also like that it gives listeners a confused feeling of wanting to dance, but also cruise at the same time. Building plenty of excitement throughout - the song is clean, vibrant and god-damn catchy.
