Aussie Punk legends, Bodyjar head to Noosa
We've seen a resurgence of Australian bands of late - bands that were the lifeblood of the Australian festival and pub circuit in the mid-90s to early 2000's, and it's soooo good.
Add another one to that list, as Aussie punk legends, Bodyjar are back at it, with a new album coming and a small string of dates our way in August, including a show at The V Room in Noosa on August 11 (with Beerwolf and Game Over).
With a renewed energy and flurry of incredible songs, the band have rediscovered their love of music, and are back with the brand new album.
“Role Model” illustrates that love, allowing them to deliver what could be their more cohesive set of songs yet. The new album "Role Model" (out on October 18) will leave no doubt in fan’s minds that Bodyjar still have it after all these years.
Fast paced and full of melody and energy, the album showcases the rare talents of a band that has been around for 19 years.
You can also catch them at Crowbar in Brisbane on August 10th, PLUS the next run of Hotter Than Hell events (also featuring Spiderbait, Shihad, Killing Heidi, Magic Dirt, 28 Days), so keep an eye out for those later in the year.
