Adelaide's Dojo Rise bring epic summery reggae jam in new single, 'Long Enough', and announce tour dates
Adelaide’s Dojo Rise have been quickly building the foundations for their uplifting South Coast sound which sees an eclectic fusion of modern roots/reggae/dub and indie soul music together, which is present in their new single, ‘Long Enough’.
‘Long Enough’ imbues summery tones in one epic reggae jam; it ticks all the boxes for modern roots/reggae, from the playful keys bubbling, bright guitars that tighten up in to upstrokes in the verses, and a rhythm section that keeps in the pocket, but isn’t afraid to add some flourishes. Adding some dense delay on the vocals, giving a dub-ish vibe, and lyrically exploring good times ties it all nicely. Dojo Rise bring ‘Long Enough’ at the right time; crank it loud while watching the waves crash, and take in a few cold ones and enjoy this land we call home.
The new single is an ode to the South Coast of Adelaide, a special place in the heads of all that is Dojo Rise, using picturesque ochre cliffs, pristine ocean waters and some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world to inspire the track.
The band will be touring the country to promote Long Enough over Summer 2022/2023, making their first appearance at one of the largest music festivals in the country, Woodford Folk Festival, with more shows and festivals in Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia.
