Sunshine Coast’s prog-dub pioneers, Dub Zoo have unveiled their highly anticipated EP, ‘Pocketful’ - 5 dub-soaked musical head-trips, with 5 bonus dub mixes and instrumentals.

The eclectic EP was mixed and produced by Paddy Kiernan and Brad Wenham and mastered by Jordan Power. The EP also features 'B-sides' for all tracks produced by guitarist Paddy Kiernan including a remix, dub versions and an instrumental mix.

Dub Zoo double down and offer more than just a Pocketful on this EP, delivering five deliciously proggy, dub-loaded tracks packed with smooth flows, rhythm section trickery, and a handful of inspired guest vocal collaborations. Every layer feels meticulously placed, weaving in and out without ever stepping on another part’s toes. There’s an airy quality to Pocketful that keeps it from becoming weighed down by overcooked production; instead, it feels organic, capturing the spirit of a late-night forest jam fuelled by good vibes, bare feet, and bass frequencies rolling through leaf-littered ground. As an added bonus, each track is accompanied by its own B-side in the form of either a dub mix or instrumental, offering listeners another way to immerse themselves in Dub Zoo’s groove-laden world. Equal parts head-nod and head-trip, Pocketful finds Dub Zoo at their most relaxed and adventurous, proving that groove and intricacy needn't be mutually exclusive.

DUB ZOO effortlessly blend multiple genres to create their signature sound, fusing elements of Hip Hop and Neo Soul into their already unique dancefloor shaking sonic. The bands live set features of collective of these artists and a selection of the bands new release music as well as some dynamic improvised dance floor filling jams.

DUB ZOO recently release their soulful single called ‘Pocketful’ (featuring 1Love from Arrested Development) which is the title track from their new EP release. The single premiered received airplay on well over 100 radio stations worldwide.
