Mont Rose and Lhēon team up for the effortlessly silky bounce, 'Me and You'

A collaboration that was meant to be, Melbourne artist and producer Mont Rose, has teamed up with Melbourne-based Swedish soul artist, Lhēon for the extremely captivating single, ‘Me and You’ - the first release of 2025 for Mont Rose.

‘Me and You’ is a lush, emotional dive into the gravity of connection - the kind that feels fated. Built on Mont Rose’s signature blend of ambient electronics and cinematic textures, together they create a dreamlike world where vulnerability becomes strength.

Lhēon’s voice takes centre stage, delivering a performance that is intimate, disarming, and timeless.

Immensely immersive, Me and You brings together Mont Rose’s finely crafted textures with Lhēon’s effortlessly smooth vocal to stunning effect. From the first beat, there’s a sense of intimacy — a deep, warbling bass pulses underneath shifting percussion, airy ambient pads and an acoustic guitar that loops like a slow carousel ride. It’s spacious without feeling empty, layered without being cluttered. Lhēon’s voice floats through it all, grounded yet dreamlike, guiding the listener with a gentle kind of urgency. This is collaboration done right — balanced, soulful and full of quiet emotional gravity.

Of the track, Mont Rose explains that “Me and You’ is about the kind of connection that feels inevitable when you stop overthinking and just let yourself fall”.

Originally from Sweden, and now based in Melbourne, Lhēon is known for her forward-thinking blend of soul, honesty, and raw energy. Like in her two-part debut release, ‘Full Disclosure’, she brings a stirring vocal presence to ‘Me and You’ - a voice that holds weight, warmth, and urgency all at once.

The song plays like a whispered confession; “We could disappear / share an atmosphere” - a lyric that captures the desire to escape reality and fall fully into another. It’s romantic without being naive, spacious yet grounded, and it marks a clear step forward in Mont Rose’s sonic evolution. ‘Me and You’ is the first in a series of releases planned for 2025, highlighting Mont Rose’s ability to merge electronic innovation with raw human feeling.

‘Me and You’ is out now on all streaming platforms.
