EMEREE returns with bold, empowering R&B pop single, 'Spring Cleaning'

Australian singer, songwriter, and producer EMEREE has released her bold and cathartic new single, ‘Spring Cleaning’, marking a powerful new chapter in her musical journey.

Following the success of her debut EP ‘Gold’ and a burst of viral acclaim, EMEREE delivers a deeply personal track that explores reclaiming space, healing from trauma, and stepping into strength.

Written during the Women in Music Production songwriting camp in Perth, EMEREE collaborated with fellow artists Drea, Bri Clark, and GEORGA RAATH to bring ‘Spring Cleaning’ to life. The song draws from EMEREE’s own experience of surviving domestic violence—a painful and life-altering journey she continues to process.

"After such a difficult year, I needed to make space for myself again," EMEREE shares. "I wanted to free myself from the emotional clutter that had been taking up so much of my mind and energy. The idea of ‘spring cleaning’ emotionally and mentally really resonated with me during that time.”

Musically, ‘Spring Cleaning’ blends EMEREE’s signature '90s R&B influences with lush, contemporary production, her unmistakable whistle notes, and an infectious groove. Vulnerable yet empowered, the track invites listeners to shed what no longer serves them and embrace emotional renewal.
