Prog/djent outfit, The Omnific team up with Osaka Punch - bring a big night of bass to Solbar Nov 17
The Omnific are taking you into the outer atmosphere today with their gorgeous, galactic video for single 'Erin'.
Last month, The Omnific released the single 'Erin' - and the track was immediately embraced. A playlist add to the international Spotify playlist 'Instrumental Madness', Radio play on triple j, rotation on The Faction and Louder Sound/Prog featured the new song. Now they return to the fold with this new video.
Toby Peterson-Stewart, one half of the 2-bass section of the band, said that this videoclip wasn't too strenuous to film. "We did this in one take during the day, then an uber dropped off a hsp in the middle of the farm. Was lit AF."
'Erin' was produced by band member Toby Peterson-Stewart and then mixed by Forrester Savell (Dead Letter Circus, Cog, Karnivool) and Mastered by Ermin Hamidovic of Systematic Productions, with additional programming by Jamie Marinos.
November 2018 will see The Omnific and Osaka Punch touring together in what is a preview of what to expect on the might COG's Drawn Together tour in 2019. Both acts are touring with COG in February and March 2019 around Australia. November sees the two creative and complex prog artists in Melbourne at The Evelyn on the 10th, Brisbane at The Zoo on the 16th and the Sunshine Coast's SolBar on the 17th. Joining the two bands on the shows will be Terrestrials & Slow Talk (Melbourne), Sum of Us (Brisbane) and Muules (Sunshine Coast). Tickets are on sale now for all tour dates from Oztix (including the COG dates).
The Omnific is a progressive instrumental band from Melbourne, Australia featuring two bass players and a drummer.
