PREMIERE - Sydney Alt Rock singer/songwriter AJ Foy pushes forward with latest single, 'Human After All'
Sydney Alternative Rock singer/songwriter AJ Foy returns with a heaving slab of 00s heavy alt rock in ‘Human After All’, which The Point is premiering ahead of its release on October 18.
Steeped in no frills rock tones, Foy encourages listeners to keep pushing forward, no matter what challenges life inevitably throws your way.
‘Human After All’ invokes the country rock-based heavy alternative sounds reminiscent of early 2000s artists such as Staind and Nickelback; the bed of acoustic guitar and AJ’s working class bourbon-soaked vocal, blended with a boomy rhythm section and fiery lead and thick riffing all making for a perfect FM radio rock platter.
AJ Foy explains that the track was written as a reminder that no matter what life throws our way, we always have the power to grow.
“We’re all on this wild journey together, each with our own stories, battles, and triumphs. When we finally break free from those bad habits and take that leap toward the changes, we know we need amazing things start happening! It’s a song to remind us there’s dips in the road as long as you still moving up the hill you got this! At the end of the day, we’re all just Human After All. So, keep grinding, keep growing, and keep believing in yourself,” he said.
AJ Foy debuted in 2021 with the release of his powerful single called ‘Broken Man’. The single received positive coverage from online street press, and the track went on to gain airplay on well over 100 radio stations worldwide.
Foy recently entered the studio with producer Ryan Cramp to work on a slew of new music that he plans to release over the coming year.
New single ‘Human After All’ is premiering now on The Point Music News, and will be streaming on all digital platforms from October 18.
