Perth Punks Indigo Blaze release party-starting anthem in 'Emteevee'
Perth-based punk rockers, Indigo Blaze come out swingin’ with party-ready new single, ‘Emteevee’; a summer-lovin’ anthem with the unique ‘blaze’ twist they are known for.
With a recent WA Music Song of the Year nomination for their single ‘Locals Only’, the band quickly reentered the studio to record the new single ‘Emteevee’ at Blackbird Studios with Dave Parkin (Sly Withers & Spacey Jane).
Indigo Blaze channel late 90s punk-rappers 28 Days in ‘Emteevee’, the only thing missing is some vinyl scratching in the background. ‘Emteevee’ is catchy, fun nu-metal lite, without the angry white boy baggy pants. Loaded with groove and bounce, the track is mosh-pit ready with fast raps balanced with a sing-along chorus, and plenty of pop-punk party-mode riffs, reminiscent of early Zebrahead. Set up Tony Hawk on the playstation, and crank this track.
“Emteevee is another classic party starter with a soaring chorus and hard-hitting bridge section that will get your head nodding. Living in Perth, Melbourne can always steal your girl.” - Indigo Blaze
