Melbourne legends, The Smith Street Band have hit the road HARD, celebrating 15 years of the band with 18 dates all over the country. The band, still going strong, hit Maroochydore’s Solbar one third of the way during their tour for a sweaty night of unbridled, emotional rock n roll. We sent photographer Ross Jenkins (aka @founding_photos) to capture the intense energy and essence of the Smith Street Band on March 28.

We’re not sure how Solbar’s roof is still on after the rock’n’roll onslaught from Brisbane’s (and frequent visitors to the Sunshine Coast), Port Royal rocked up at storm while on their Love Passion Satisfaction Tour.

Australian lords of technical death metal, Thy Art is Murder kicked off their The Death Dealers Australian Tour with massive force at Solbar on Thursday night. Supported by Alpha Wolf, Antagonist A.D., and Xile, the heavy is real, and we sent photographer Cynthia Lee to capture the night in photos.
