Rackett, Hobo Magic, Port Royal, Peach Fur and Muules at Solbar, July 7 2018
Looking more like a mini-festival with this line-up, we sent Cynthia Lee to capture some of the buzziest bands of the moment at Solbar, when Sydney's Rackett decided to swing through on their Space Cadet Tour.
From Rackett's psyched-out, tight as f*%^ poppy dance punk, to the pure riffery of Hobo Magic, the rocked-out, oh so good and cocky Port Royal, to the groove psych of Peach Fur, and the pure grungy-guitarless Muules... it was a big night of music on the local front.
