Day, ‘Destiny Pt. 1’ whether intentionally or not, borrows heavily from the legendary ‘American Idiot’ album by Green Day, with its form of storytelling, and pop elements blended into punk riffing and anthemic choral sections, interspersed news grabs, and multiple hooks.
