Sydney-based post-hardcore group Isotopes have returned with their thunderous new single ‘Die Alone’ – produced by Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly, Between You and Me), and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath).
‘Die Alone’ employs lush strings and atmospheric keys from the get go, before launching into a thick barrage of beats and distortion. Hints of nu-metal, and heavier emo sounds blend in, with the emphatic chorus rolling in grit and angst. It’s a thick rollercoaster of a track that sees a band switch its dynamics with ease.
