Brisbane's Tripsitta fire up the panelvan and journey to 'Paradise' on new Oz Psych Rock single

Brisbane’s Tripsitta kick in to their 2023 with a brand new single, ‘Paradise’ - a track that talks about the spirit of inspiration that comes to a young musician and makes them venture int the world to turn their dream into reality.

This new single follows on from previous track, the more rock-reggae charged, ‘Change’, with ‘Paradise’ adopting some Australian indie-pop sensibilities into the psych rock sound they have forged previously.

‘Paradise’ sees a merging of garage rock and Australian Surf Rock, melding into psychedelia; it emanates rock n roll bardsmen, draped in paisley, and journeying the sunburnt country in a HQ Sandman. Bringing to mind Oz Pub Rock legends the Hoodoo Gurus, Tripsitta suck in that nostalgia, and breathe out wise words from young blokes, wrapped in reverb-drenched rhythms, and hooky strumming.

Tripsitta team up with the legendary Jono Frowd (Hunting Ground Studios) to engineer and producer the track, with mastering by Matthew Gray.

Tripsitta have entered into 2023 with a new line-up, they have recorded 4 new tracks and a ready to begin releasing music throughout the year leading up to an east coast tour planned for the end of the year.

Talking about the track, guitarist Andy Wright says ‘Paradise’ is somewhat an autobiographical take on having an inspiring moment that comes to you and provides the courage to shift your life and start pursuing your dreams and passions.

“‘Paradise’ tells the story about a young musician who has a moment of inspiration in a dream ,that leads him into leaving his old life behind and becoming what he wants to be so he can share that with the world.”

With a new single under their belt, Tripsitta will be appearing at their first festival - Jimna Rocks - with this new line-up.

Hop on the journey, and check out ‘Paradise’ which is streaming now on all platforms.
