QLD singer/songwriter, Hello Jane brings comforting new single, 'Never Alone', and announces string of dates.

Queensland-based singer/songwriter Hello Jane returns with her first release for 2022, the super-sweet single, ‘Never Alone’, as well as announcing a string of shows in support of the release across QLD and NSW.

‘Never Alone’s lush, warm acoustic tones help enhance Hello Jane’s soft-yet-confident vocal melody, which instantly gives a feeling of comfort. It’s easy to sink in to the track, and as the title (and chorus hook) dictates, feel never alone, at least for three and a half minutes.

Like a warm hug set to music, ‘Never Alone’ is the perfect song to melt away the distance between listeners, their friends and loved ones.

Hello Jane composed the song as a feel-good dedication to her sister who was unable to return home from overseas, due to the pandemic. She explains: “Never Alone was written back in March 2020, the world had stopped for the first time with the beginning of the pandemic and my younger sister was alone in a country far away from home. Like many others with loved ones in different parts of the world, I worried. I worried some more and did the only thing I knew how to do: write a song.”

Co-written with her brother, award-winning Bradley McCaw, ‘Never Alone’ showcases the heart- wrenching sweet vocals and sophisticated songwriting finesse Hello Jane is renowned for. The track was brought to life by award-winning producer Michael Moko and features some of Australia’s best session players including Luke Moller (The Weeping Willows, Kate Miller-Heidke), Bradley McCaw, and a whole lot of Michael Moko.

Hello Jane has spent the past 18 months keeping busy despite the COVID lockdowns. A semi-finalist in the Gympie Muster Talent Search, her previous release ‘Something Else’ also took out the 2020 Songwriting Prize at the Tablelands Folk Festival, and she was also a finalist in the 2021 Brisbane City Council’s QUBE Effect program.

To celebrate the release of ‘Never Alone’, Hello Jane will be hitting the road throughout South East Queensland and Northern NSW, for a string of headline shows – her first since opening for artists including Golden Guitar winner Melody Moko and Golden Guitar nominee Camille Trail.

Hello Jane is a star on the rise, and her unique blend of pop melody, folk storytelling and country feel is gaining notice far and wide.
