2019 saw electro-pop trio, Forrest Run hit the ground, well, running with a killer lead single, followed by the debut EP and festival slots and major supports, and they don’t show any sign of slowing down as we head into the new decade with a brand new single, ‘Leave The Lights’.

If you’re yet to catch on, Forrest Run comprise of hip-hop producer Judah, multi-instrumentalist Jayke, and indie-pop vocalist Ayla, who fuse together their styles, each with interesting and unique appeal.

The new single, ‘Leave The Lights’ follows, and grows on the sound they’ve so-far established, with big bold production, ethereal guitar, and Ayla’s signature breathy/quirky vocal delivery.

It’s bouncy, poppy, and while feeling light on its feet, there’s some dark undertones bubbling underneath.

This looks to be the first taste of Forrest Run’s sophomore release, which is currently under production.

Add to this new release, the trio have just been announced as part of the 2020 Big Pineapple Music Festival, joining the likes of The Hilltop Hoods, The Amity Affliction, G-Flip and more.

‘Leave The Lights’ is out today via streaming platforms.
