Following the release of the happy nihilistic single ‘Conform’ in June, Big Blue Eyes (recording project by multi-instrumentalist Ryan Smart) follows up with the release of woozy and groovy track titled ‘Granted’.
Ryan explains that “after writing this track in high school 3 years ago, the track has grown to be an honest reflection of a teenage relationship, and the feelings associated with being taken for granted. I really wanted to portray how the smallest amount of questioning can drag you deep down into your own head and your own anxious world.”
