AYLA mesmerises with latest single, 'Fade Into Forever', and announces debut album, 'Dopamine'

The ever-evolving musical chameleon that is the pop sensation AYLA graces us with another single in ‘Fade Into Forever’, ahead of her highly-anticipated debut album (which arrives on July 26th).

This soulfully-charged track showcases AYLA’s darker side, crafted in collaboration with the multi-platinum producer, songwriter and mixing engineer, Taka Perry.  

‘Fade Into Forever’ represents a perfect synergy between AYLA's lyrical depth and Taka Perry's innovative production style. The song features a super modern beat layered with darker, visual lyrics that reflect AYLA's exploration of stoicism. Inspired by a quote from Empedocles, “the sea is the sweat of the earth”, AYLA establishes the tone of the track, delving into the theme of shared loneliness and the collective human experience.

Once again AYLA shows off her musical fluidity, with ‘Fade Into Forever’ shifting the enigmatic artist into cinematic synth pop. Producer Taka Perry utilises AYLA’s unique vocal phrasing to its full potency, forming a counter-balancing rhythm to the almost clockwork-like pulsing dark pop beat. A sea of synths swirl in between, while the use of loosely-strummed guitars remains to keep at least one foot on the ground, adding a touch of organics to this mesmerising track. ‘Fade Into Forever’ is intense, entrancing AYLA goodness. 

AYLA explains, “This song is soulfully inspired by not feeling alone in loneliness. It’s about understanding that the sadness we sometimes feel is a shared experience and finding the most enjoyable way to live through it together.”

The chorus lyric, “I only wanna be there when the room is filled with people. We all pretend together, but they’re never happy either,” is AYLA’s favourite part of the track, encapsulating the song's core message of communal empathy and the facade we often maintain.

To celebrate the release of AYLA’s debut album, ‘Dopamine’, she will be performing an album launch at Solbar (Maroochydore) on July 28th, with guests Anna & Jordan, Cry Baby, and Sailing in Space.
