Gold Coast alternative RnB artist, David Mac has just dropped a slow, fiery jam in the new single, ‘Nobody But You’; an invitation to a whole other calming dimension.

Following on from his debut single, ‘Treetops’ (find that on Soundcloud), ‘Nobody But You’ is synth-heavy, with wet beats, allowing David’s smooth vocals to exude confidence and sensuality, while conveying the overall tone of new love.

The young emerging artist (having made himself known in the Australian music scene performing at HOTA, and as a member of New Age Notion, playing venues such as Mo’s Desert Clubhouse, and The Flying Cock) says the track was written at an important time in his life.

“For me, the song describes the overwhelming yet elating feeling of loving someone for the first time who matches your exact energy,” he said.

Influenced by artists such as The Weeknd, Mansionair, Billie Eilish, and Frank Ocean, David’s work has been described as a ‘swirling’ skittering vibe’ (David Ruby Howe, Triple J Unearthed), and with the artist determined to continue releasing music that touch the hearts of those who connect with being true to yourself and exploring the unknown, expect big things from David Mac in the coming future.

‘Nobody But You’ is out now on all streaming platforms.
