Gold Coast's Erin Foster delivers emotive eighties electro-pop banger with new single, 'Sometimes'
Gold Coast solo artist, Erin Foster channels dark eighties electro-pop with a brand new single, ‘Sometimes’ out today.
Following the release of her debut single, ‘Birthday’ which got the attention of 4ZZZ and Triple J, ‘Sometimes’ is a synth-heavy club track, with Erin’s sweetened vocals entrancing, while revealing an internal monologue laced with romantic desolation.
Written and produced by Erin, ‘Sometimes’ confesses to fantasising about a love unencumbered by real life. Influenced by the likes of The Weeknd, the hints of neon push through and highlight lyrics that denote feeling self-critical or self-indulgence.
Erin has brought forth an emotive electro-pop club track in ‘Sometimes’, that invites you to both cry in bed, and in the club.
Erin’s debut track, ‘Birthday’ was played on Triple J and on high rotation on Sydney’s FBi, and Brisbane’s 4ZZZ (consistently placing in the Top 20 most played tracks during June).
The bewitching track, ‘Sometimes’ is out today on all streaming platforms.
