Melbourne-based alternative rock group Bad Juju have revealed a sensitive accompanying music video for their recent single ‘In the Clouds’ – filmed, directed, and edited by Colin Jeffs.

Shot at Manorisms StudiosBlack Rabbit Bar, and other locations, the video integrates the stories of a young kid, being distracted and eclipsed from his hopeful passions, and his older counterpart, portrayed by lead singer Russell Holland, being reacquainted with said youthful dreams. The clip’s dreamy transitions and glowing scenery is an accurate representation of the song’s lyrical content.

Holland talks about the concept behind the video for ‘In the Clouds’:

“The clip depicts a version of ‘young Russ’ and ‘adult Russ’ at different stages in their lives. Young Russ is given a guitar at an early age but then becomes discouraged by being told he should focus on studies instead. Adult Russ is shown being in a job he hates and generally disliking life until he decides to pick up his passion again.”
