MUFASSA delivers his 3rd solo single from his acoustic EP, ‘Life in the Left Hand Lane’ with good-time shuffle, ‘Butterflies’.

Bringing some serious Basement Birds vibes with this new track, ‘Butterflies’ is yet another uplifting, feel-good track from MUFASSA, documenting his life on the road touring Australia (since 2018) in a 2005 Roadstar Caravan.

There’s plenty of earnest feelings MUFASSA (aka Dale Mallett) conjures up through his lyrics, backed solidly by a simple, rounded rhythm section, acoustic guitars, and some banjo nestled nicely amongst the sounds.

The former-Sunshine Coaster (now based in WA) is known for his coastal roots approach, with the solo material adopting other genres such as alt-country and older blues tones in to the mix.

You can stream ‘Butterflies’ on all digital platforms now.
