Sunshine coast producer Alvy Willa is a wanderer. After spending much of his early 20’s busking, writing and surfing up and down the east coast of Australia with his kelpie , Alvy Willa is set to release his 2nd single “Walk Away Feat. Emily Rink”

In this release Alvy Willa has gone deeper into his electronic production, combining big dirty synth bass , vocal chops and some sweet sparkling sounds to round out a song that packs a lot of energy. The vocals in “walk Away” come from Brisbane based artist Emily Rink and after finished vocals were recorded Alvy felt that the production needed more punch to match the fierce energy brought by Emily. So he began working on the chorus again. Adding some heavy bass, chopping the vocals up and bringing some big percussive elements in to help drive the chorus.

It was in 2014 while backpacking through Costa Rica he felt the strong desire to come home and dedicate himself to writing and playing more music. In 2018 Alvy Willa got the opportunity to spend a few days writing music for another project with Ball Park Music’s Sam Cromack and said the experience was incredibly beneficial and motivating. In 2019 Alvy Willa then traded busking on the streets for the stage with electronic pop trio ‘Forrest Run’ who Alvy Willa makes up a third of.

“Walk Away Feat. Emily Rink” is set to be released on the 30th of October, but here at The Point, we’re lucky enough to be premiering the track. Check it out below, and click the below link to pre-save it to your Spotify.
