Singer-songwriter Nicole McKinney releases the dream-like new track, 'Palestine'
Brisbane/Sunshine Coast singer-songwriter Nicole McKinney follows up the award-winning ‘Honey Be Good’ with her latest track, the dream-like ‘Palestine’.
The new single drifts slightly away from Nicole’s usual folk-pop style, leaning more towards a Cranberries-tinged soft rock, and becoming an anthem of life and its uncertainties, while expressing changing views, relationships and experiences that come from moving from your teens into your early 20s.
Earlier this year, Nicole placed first in the APRA AMCOS sponsored ‘The Song Comp’ for the song ‘Honey Be Good’ (in the singer-songwriter song of the year category). Nicole has worked in the studio with the boys from the duo McDermott and North (no strangers to the SE Qld gigging circuit themselves).
‘Palestine’ was recently launched with a few shows, so do keep a further eye out for Nicole McKinney playing venues on the Coast and Brisbane very soon.
