WHARVES are back with their new single 'BLAME' now released worldwide.

The band are heading to Europe during September/October to support DZ Deathrays and Planet, on a massive 14 show, 5 nation, tour hitting cities including Berlin, Paris and London, but not before a cheeky stop at Solbar on August 31 helping Big Whoops celebrate their EP launch, along with Walken, Muules and Zebrafinch.

WHARVES will then jet home and kick off their own Australian headline tour starting on 2 November in Melbourne.

With their new single 'BLAME' the band has continued to explore the space and refine their unabashed love affair with guitar rock, with the assistance of producer Steven Schram. WHARVES have been compared to bands as varied as Foals, Blondie, City Calm Down, Devo and Blur. They have supported a wide variety of bands including Wolfmother, The Living End, Rolling Blackouts, Kingswood and Dear Seattle.

Audiences at Splendour in the Grass (2017 unearthed winners), Bigsound, Falls Festival, Festival of the Sun, Byron Guitar Fest and more, have been treated to their powerful live show.

Matt Collins lead singer says about the new track 'BLAME' " It came from a jam created at our WHARVES HQ rehearsal space. It was affectionately called "dad rock". I took it home and wrote lyrics inspired by a previous relationship and about not blaming the world for my misfortune. It's a lesson to do things better in the future. We made demos of it at our Sapphire Beach-house and at a beautiful eco venue in Tintenbar. It has quickly become a favourite in our live set, it really is high energy and gets the crowd jumping. I'm really happy with the performance in the recording capturing that spirit".

Catch WHARVES at Solbar this Saturday night with Big Whoops, Walken, Muules and Zebrafinch. $10 at the door, with bands starting at 8pm
