While the biggest music vote in Australia has been and gone, another remains which focuses on the more alternative and heavier acts.

With thanks to digital radio station, The Faction, the nominations for this year’s Hardest 100 have been up and running for a few weeks, with a week to go before voting closes.

And the Sunshine Coast has a couple of acts up for nomination, with Aussie metal legends, Dead Kelly, and alt-rock trio, Muules both with entries in this year’s countdown.

By casting a vote, particularly for these two local acts, you’ll also be in the running for a double pass to the Download Festival in Sydney OR Melbourne, or $50 voucher for 24Hundred, a double pass to BIGSOUND Festival live shows, a $250 Oxztix voucher, or a Faction Merch pack.

Hell of a sweetener. Head here to cast your vote (need to place 10 choices, so why not add a few acts - some featuring former Coast artists as well - Flynn Effect, Dead Letter Circus, etc).
