The folk rocking traveler Tennyson King successfully completed a two-month tour in Canada for his ‘Back To The Ocean Tour’ and will now continue the tour with a stop in Hong Kong and a 3-month tour in Australia. He will be the only Canadian act performing at the Bendigo Blues & Roots Festival this year and will be bringing his all AUSSIE band with him. The tour will continue on with shows from Melbourne, VIC all the way up to Airlie Beach, QLD. He has just finished tours in China, Hong Kong, Australia, Thailand, and Canada promoting his newly released COAST album.

Recorded in Toronto/Hamilton by Tennyson King, produced by Dan Hosh (The Arkells, City and Colour) COAST is an album written by the Hong Kong born musician as a reflection of life’s journey during his earthly travels. It has vibes heavily inspired from living out of a van on the east coast of Australia.

“It’s music for the everyday person who is working hard doing whatever they do but craving, dreaming, or reminiscing about the love of travel, nature, and the beach. The overall tone is care-free but, lyrically, touches on very self-reflective thoughts that I believe many of us have.” Tennyson King explains.

‘Passing Through’ is the third single off of the much awaited 6 song EP. The live band video was shot in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada with his Canadian 5-piece band. The song was written during Tennyson’s epic journey through the Australian outback north to Darwin during one of his tours. It touches on our human fear and romance of the vast emptiness that can exist in our world.
