With a new tune just released and another on the horizon, Sky Eater are gonna get you grooving on the grass with a mashup of dub-reggae, jungle and dnb, and a sweet line up of special guests including guitarist Rohan Nitschke from Bearfoot this Sunday, October 13 at the one and only Peregian Originals!

Sky Eater is the daring trip-hop/dub-meets-occasional-jungle story of two multi-instrumental warriors: sax-wielding Chelsea Skyeater, armed with honey vocals, powerfully vulnerable lyrics, lush-dubbed flute and keys - and dub soldier TK Bassdread with his artillery of beastly bass, beats, vocals (and of course more dubs!). Sometimes you'll also find them in trio form with guitar - sometimes even full horn section-seven piece live band format.

Sky Eater take audiences on an upbeat, “mesmerising and elegant” (Nkechi - Roots n All, JJJ) journey that is full of soul and jazz moments. After releasing their debut EP in January 2019, the duo have made numerous festival appearances and toured extensively throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Finalists in two songwriting awards, they have just released their film clip for “The Rain” and are gearing up for their next release with festival appearances at Island Vibe (QLD), Queenscliff Music Fest (VIC) Nimbin Roots (NSW), Mitchell Creek Rock n Blues (QLD), and Woodford (QLD).

Catch them at Peregian Originals this Sunday, along with the legendary Sun Salute (which will feature Chelsea on Sax as well).
