After a massive 2017 with his win at the Byron Bay Blues Fest Busking Competition and the successful release of his single ‘Like Waves’ (which debuted at no.8 on Australia’s Regional Radio charts), Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tay Oskee returns with his latest release ‘We Were Young’.

‘We Were Young’ was written with hope that the future of the world will eventually come together without the prejudice and racism that is still so common to this day.

Recorded in his studio near Byron Bay with the help of producer, friend and fellow folk singer Garrett Kato (Ziggy Alberts, Kyle Lionhart), ‘We Were Young’ is a beautiful sonic journey which progresses from soft lush folk sounds and soaring melody’s to a Gang Of Youths-esque build with big driving drums.

Tay, no stranger to Sunshine Coast venues, makes his journey eventually back to the Sunshine Coast after a run of Western Australian and Victorian dates, to play Solbar on May 25th.
