Caloundra Music Festival, 2021
As with most things that have happened in 2020 to 2021, the pandemic put a pause on the Caloundra Music Festival in 2020 (though a mini version was held in its place). However, in 2021, the return of one of the biggest Festivals in South East Queensland was welcomed with open arms.
With a revised layout (obviously with some Covid restrictions still in effect), this meant a festival 2/3’s the size, with three stages in operation (instead of the usual six or seven), and back to a three-day event (instead of the previous four), there were also some reshuffling and addition of extra acts due to border restrictions. With all that out of the way, not even a downpour of rain on the opening night could dampen the spirits of the acts and attendees.
From headliners John Butler, Xavier Rudd, Ian Moss and Ball Park Music, to crowd faves Waax, The Whitlams, The Superjesus, and Sneaky Sound System, to the super-talented local acts, there was plenty of epic live music to take in.
The sun was shining (for most of it), the vibes were high, and we had photographer Chris Clow capture it all
