Tickets for the OFFBEAT MUSIC FESTIVAL in Eumundi will go on sale at 9am this Friday 3 September, with a line-up that promises to blow the minds of fans who’ve been missing quality live music.

The festival will take place on Saturday 27 November from 12noon - late, with two stages and a line-up that boasts Holy Holy, Angie McMahon, Tia Gostelow, Dallas Frasca, Hayley Mary, Kallidad, alongside local outfits Dear Doonan, Kurilpa Reach, The Rumbrellas, Fragile Animals, Palomino III and Karl S. Williams, along with The Gubbi Gubbi Dancers opening the event.

“Without the assistance of the Federal Government’s RISE grant, acts like Holy Holy and Angie McMahon would never be seen in Eumundi, we are very lucky,” says Festival Organiser Alice Jones.

Alice says OFFBEAT promises to be just that. “A little offbeat, a bit quirky, a little off the beaten track, and a bit of the unexpected,” she says.

“We held the first OFFBEAT at The Imperial Hotel in 2019 and have re-imagined the event and expanded beyond the hotel, with the festival hub in the open-air space adjacent to Eumundi Markets in Napier Road,” Alice says.

The weeks ahead will see the announcement of further OFFBEAT events being scheduled from Friday 26 November through to Sunday 28 November in various locations throughout the village of Eumundi.

“OFFBEAT will offer the best of what locals hold dear” Alice says, “A weekend of cracker music, good vibes, creativity, and a whole lot of Eumundi love”.

The 2021 Offbeat Music Festival is proudly supported by Restart investment to Sustain and Expand Fund (RISE) - an Australian Government initiative and is a Covid safe event.
