Sunshine Coast alternative rock 4-piece, ChAMBER LANe share their recent upbeat 90’s/00’s soaked indie/alt rock single, ‘Think Like I Do’.

Bringing together a diversity of influences from 50s rock, new wave, and alternative rock, ‘Think Like I Do’ however starts to show some touches from early The Strokes and Vampire Weekend bleeding in, with lightly distorted guitars, easy-going vocal harmonies, and a catchy beat.

Frontman Connor Hanson tells how the song is about the complicated moments of an unrequited crush.

“Think Like I Do’ is a song about falling in love with someone you know, who doesn’t think of you the same way you do of them. It’s a song not so much about admitting defeat, but about letting love run its course, even if the one you love doesn’t love you back.’

It flips the switch on a sad situation by using major chords, upbeat rhythms and happy harmonies.

If you’re trying to overcome the feeling of dealing with ‘the one that got away’, then let ‘Think Like I Do’ become your soundtrack.

‘Think Like I Do’ is out now on all streaming platforms.
