Indie Rock kids Fight Ibis are on a lockdown roll, today releasing 'Mutants', a tasty summertime anthem and their second single drop in 3 months.

Release on Octotber 12th across Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, AMRAP AirIT and more, the Mutants single release is accompanied by a close to sell out Queensland run of shows in Brisbane (11 tickets left), Gold Coast (SOLD OUT) and Sunshine Coast (Selling Fast) starting this Friday night.

‘Mutants’ is the second single from an upcoming concept album with the band having been on a roll with 7 Triple J featured tracks from 7 releases. The track sets the tone for an upcoming cracking Summer.

Kyuss Williams, lead singer of Fight Ibis says of the latest release “I wrote it about a year ago when i heard someone talking under my bed on tour… I thought it was the Bogeyman. Turns out it was just Dayle on the phone when we were in bunk beds.”

Fight Ibis have featured on the likes of The Big Pineapple Music Festival, Dead of Winter, Bigsound, Mojo Burning and more as well as supporting The Growlers (USA), Hockey Dad, The Garden (USA) and Mako Road (NZ) in many sold out performances over the last few years. They deliver a chaotic live set whilst simultaneously holding an intensity and tightness that only a well versed band can handle, seamlessly moving in and out of Punk, Funk, Pop, Groove, Surf, Psych and Garage.

Appearing at The Brightside Brisbane on Friday October 16 with only a few tickets available to both an early (5.30pm - 8.00pm) and late session (8.30pm - 11.30pm). The Saturday show at Mo's Desert Clubhouse on the Gold Coast is SOLD OUT and tickets are selling fast to their Saturday 24 October double at Solbar on the Sunshine Coast.
