The weekend is here, and there's some epic music to go check out this weekend-

Lime Cordial with Timberwolf, and Gold Member at Solbar tomorrow night.
Cheap Fakes celebrate the launch of their new single, 'Sisters' at The Shared in Yandina tomorrow night.
Home Gathering will go off up in the Gympie hinterland with Bearfoot, Dosed, Daizybrains, Band of Frequencies plus so many DJ/Producers, so if you missed out on a ticket... unlucky.
And Roots Rock Reggae Sundays returns to the Shared on Sunday with Sound Tribe, Captain Dreamboat, Taloola from 3pm.
This year's Point Party line-up has been announced.  The annual event, held at Solbar on December 7th (that's a Thursday for those playing at home) will feature Fragile Animals, Dosed, Whiskey & Me, TOWN, Muules, The Quakers, Dear Willow, Face Race, and the Sunny Coast All Stars (featuring members of Bearfoot, Floating Bridges, In2nation etc).  As usual, entry by Gold Coin donation, kicks off at 7pm in the back room, and celebrates the Sunshine Coast Music Scene. For extra info, click here.
Face Race debuted their track, 'Beat It Ya Kooks' onto the interwebs this week.  A bit of a dig at our Australian Pollies, and very relevant issue of SSM mentioned in this song.  Check it out via Spotify here.
Rock n Roots Festival, the very first one, is coming up close, with the December 2nd event to be held at the Caloundra RSL, and features Bearfoot, Buck Dean and the Green Lips, Pete Allan Collective, Chris Flaskas Trio, The Unknowns, Van Larkins, Dear Willow, Deano, Olivia Ruth, and Dan Horne.  Pre-sold tickets are $17 which can be purchased via caloundrarsl.com.au, or it's $20 on the door.
