Rising Queensland pop artist Isabel Wood has today released her dazzling new single ‘Allergy Season’ – available now on all streaming platforms. The track was produced by industry leader Konstantin Kersting (Tones & I, Mallrat, Eves Karydas) and arrives in time for the artist’s appearance at Caloundra Music Festival on October 1st .

‘Allergy Season’ explores the familiar feeling of losing control of your emotions for no real reason and channels it into a sparkling pop track that will make even the darkest days feel brighter. Speaking on the track, Isabel says, “This track completely grew from the idea of using the phrase ‘Allergy Season’ as an excuse for crying, which I loved.

Although the lyrics are sad, I always wanted this to be a happy bop because most of the time I’m crying over literally nothing and that just seems funny to me. Konstantin absolutely nailed the production and I had so much fun working with him”.

‘Allergy Season’ was produced by Brisbane’s own Konstantin Kersting, whose production credits include the chart-topping sensation ‘Dance Monkey’ – a record-breaking track from Tones & I that reached #1 in 30 countries and earned Konstantin ARIA-nominations for both Producer and Engineer of the Year. He recently reached as high as #6 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Producers chart. Konstantin has also produced records for many other prominent artists including Mallrat, The Rubens, Eves Karydas, Yoste, Merci, Mercy, and more.

Isabel is excited to perform ‘Allergy Season’ and more at Caloundra Music Festival on October 1 st , joining the likes of Thelma Plum, San Cisco and Ball Park Music for three days of Sun, Surf and Soul at the beautiful Kings Beach.
