Fresh off a run of Pilbara (WA) shows and a quick stint in North & South-East QLD, Western Australian-based (and former Sunny Coast) artist MUFASSA is gaining momentum with his latest new-soul release 'Rain On Me.’

Written during the ‘Black Summer Fires’ of 2019/20 & the 2nd single from MUFASSA's 'Life in the Left Hand Lane' EP, 'Rain On Me' is a smoky, heartfelt song calling for the rain to pour down and wash away our darkest hours.

Stripped back, but full of soul, ‘Rain On Me’ is a roots-heavy acoustic track, that lets Mufassa (Dale Mallet)’s vocals take flight, with massive sing-along vibes.

Drawing inspiration from a life travelling the country and being a coastal dweller from way back, Mufassa combines these experiences, along with influences from musical storytellers including Mike Love, Paul Kelly and Archie Roach, in to his own organic ‘coastal roots’ vibrations.

‘Rain On Me’ is out now, and is the next taste of Mufassa’s upcoming EP, ‘Life in the Left Hand Lane’.
