Sunshine Coast power-trio Von Hazeler follow-up on their debut single, ‘Oh No’ with another flashback to Nineties Indie Rock Australiana in the new single, ‘Rolling Stoner’.

Penned by singer/guitarist Jimmy Haseler about his travels, backpacking Australia with a German paramour, ‘Rolling Stoner’ is a song that sees a moment in time when you are presented with an opportunity and you go with it.

“When you spend your days basically on repeat, working, getting wasted, in what seems an endless cycle, then you get the slightest taste of change and adventure, you’re going to grab that chance. I met this German girl, we headed out west, ended up in Bali, then we went our separate ways and I headed back home,” says Jimmy.

Recorded at Big Rock Studios in Coolum, ‘Rolling Stoner’, much like the previous single, ‘Oh No’ showcases a mix of fuzzy indie guitar, driving rhythms, and a half-time sing-along chorus with that distinctive Australian slacker tone.

Keep your eye out for the accompanying film clip, recorded at Norton Guitar Factory in Caloundra (Sunshine Coast).

‘Rolling Stoner’ will be available for digital streaming on all platforms now.
