Brisbane/Sunshine Coast grungy alt outfit, Wetlands have unveiled an angsty, dark film clip to their track, ‘Stain’ ahead of their debut EP release on July 2nd.

Showing plenty of grit, and pent-up frustration, the black and white music video explores the themes of toxic relationships and their effect on those involved.

Of the clip, vocalist/guitarist Kaitlyn Hold explains that ‘Stain’ is about past relationships and how the memories of time together have become nothing more than a stain on her life.

“Love should never be a horrible, toxic battle, and although we can’t change the past and hurt we caused (and received), we can learn, grow and heal from it,’ she said.

The music video for ‘Stain’ was filmed/edited by bassist Kristen Skinns (Kove Creative) and is out now.

Catch Wetlands celebrating their upcoming EP with shows at Tomcat (Brisbane) this Friday night (with Sky Valley, Ballpoint, Feral Fatigue, and Ultraviolet), and locally at Eleven Dive Bar on July 16 with Muules and Citizen Rat.
