Melbourne-based alt-rock songwriter, COLD*WORDS goes dark with moody new single and music video, ‘Kill Me, Please?’.

Focusing on the struggles of someone grappling with their state of mind, and the desire to be rid of the darkness within, ‘Kill Me, Please?’ blends emotive alternative rock, with hints of post-grunge.

COLD*WORDS is the moniker of Regan Hughes, who played in legendary Metal band Left For Wolves for many years. Once the group disbanded, Regan instantly got to work on his solo career. He has moved away from his metal roots in order to craft a more melodic brand of Alternative Rock.

COLD*WORDS pens easy-to-digest songs that boast a deeper complexity on closer inspection. Regan's self-recorded and produced songs are intensely honest and raw, offering his perspective on topics such as alienation, depression and anxiety. You get the feeling that our narrator doesn't want any help; he purely wants you to feel what he feels for a moment in time.

New single ‘Kill Me, Please?’ is available for streaming and download on all major online stores.
