Winter may be here, but Forrest Run are bringing the 'Summer' with brand new single

Sunshine Coast Alt/Electro/Pop trio, Forrest Run are on a hot streak, with the release of their third single, ‘Summer’.

This bass-and-beat driven beauty was put together in Judah’s home studio, and brought to life when the three-piece teamed up with Sam Cromack (Ball Park Music) for some tasty production. Finished off with a mix from producer Tim Carr (Matt Corby/LePie/Urthboy etc) - who also produced the other tracks on the upcoming Forrest Run EP - this track was guaranteed to be a banger.

Like their other tracks, ‘Summer’ features a topline from the trio’s vocalist Ayla - who has also had success with own career. In this track, Ayla’s delivery tells of a seasonal relationship; the ups and downs, and how to make it work, which is echoed in the chorus refrain, ‘tell me what the rules are if you want to be my love’.

In true contrarian style, the Summer jam will be brought to you at the height of Winer.
