MUFASSA & The Pride are releasing ‘GOIN AWAY’, the 4th track from their debut ‘Follow Me – EP’ ahead of some big shows and festival appearances.

Produced by Rohan Nitschke (Bearfoot/Zero Theory) at Big Rock Studio in Coolum, and mastered by Paul Blakey at 12th & Vine (Bearfoot, Cheap Fakes, Amy Shark), the single showcases a round bouncing bass line, with plenty of roots reggae hooks, wrapped up in an upbeat groove, and big brassy sounds.

“Goin Away is about making your own path in life, moving away from the norm. If everyone did the same thing, life would lack colour and excitement!” – MUFASSA.

To date the band have released 3 tracks, with ‘BLUE SKY’ and ‘ALL RIGHT’ gaining National Airplay on Triple J, and ‘FOLLOW ME’ reaching no.5 on the National Regional Amrap Charts.

You can catch Mufassa locally at the Beef & Beers Festival on August 31st, and also appearing at this year’s Caloundra Music Festival.
