Saturday 14 December will see THUNDER FOX bring their debut album of irresistible flavours to The Imperial Hotel Eumundi, supported by HIGH TROPICS.

Thunder Fox returns with their long anticipated debut album 'Love at First Sniff' - a studio realisation of their addictive live sound that has well and truly put them on the map.

Drenched in the indiscriminate combination of countless musical influences old and new, Thunder Fox provides a passionate barrage of groove-instilling noise through shredding guitar solos, titillating vocalisation, tight horn lines and stank bass ‘n drum feel.

This Sydney-based six-piece has been performing across the country with its current line-up since the beginning of 2017 (visiting such festivals such as Lost Paradise, Caloundra Music Festival and Subsonic Music Festival), building a reputation as one of the Australia’s top up-and-coming independent acts.

The European Summer of 2018 saw Thunder Fox embark on their first international tour, making their mark on new audiences in the Netherlands, Germany, The UK, France, Spain, Switzerland and Italy.

With fingers dipped generously in the juices of Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley, Anderson Paak and the Chili Peppers, Thunder Fox culminates in something as catchy as it is unique while delivering an ecstatic live experience that devoted fans continue to crave.

Dubbed as “infectious garage pop” by Rolling Stone magazine, High Tropics is the moniker of Queensland-based songwriter Josh Stewart and his band.

Formed as an outlet to house songs outside of the now defunct garage rock outfit The Ninjas, Stewart’s DIY home recordings quickly caught the attention of esteemed US label Roll Call records, who put out the project’s first two singles in 2017.

Following a huge 2018 that saw the band represent Australia in the Project Aloft Star Asia competition in Seoul, South Korea, High Tropics have returned with latest single ‘Changes’.

Mixed by long time collaborator Elliot Heinrich and mastered by Brian Lucey (Cage the Elephant, Liam Gallagher), the song is a teaser for the band’s highly anticipated debut EP – which recently took 2nd place in Happy Magazine’s coveted nationwide Needle in the Hay competition.
