Ayla Announces Intimate Live Shows (Feb on the Sunshine Coast)

Following the release of her emotionally raw single 'Small Talk' late last year, Ayla today shares a run of intimate live shows this January in Melbourne and Sydney, and closer to home in February.

Settling in for the evening with Ayla, expect to hear favourites from her 2018 EP 'Let's Talk Monday' including 'Like the Other Kids', alongside 2015 hit 'Wish I Was' - which featured in the Top 15 most played on triple j of that year - and latest 'Small Talk' which topped the AMRAP Community Radio Chart.

Ayla’s storytelling prowess takes pride of place on Small Talk’s rumination of sad goodbyes. Highlighted by minimal production featuring solemn drums and guitar; her yearning voice showcases her incredible vocal capabilities.

Known for melding melancholy with uplifting arrangements, her sound is reminiscent of Lana Del Rey and Florence and the Machine, helping amass a slew of online attention she was invited into the triple j studio for their acclaimed ‘Like A Version’ segment.

At home in the live circuit, the singer-songwriter has spent the past few years honing her craft in front of audiences here and abroad, performing at numerous festivals includingFestival of the Sun and Coloundra Music Festival, playing high profile supports for Kate Miller-Heidke, Asta and Husky, as well as touring through the UK and Netherlands.
