A year to the date since the release of their last album 'Convalesce’, Cairns-based Funk, Rock, Soul, Hip Hop outfit ‘The Taste’ release their newest single ‘Move On’ ahead of a run of South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales shows.

Written by lead female vocalist Vanessa Glennon, Move On features a buffet of instrumentation in true Taste fashion with Saxophone, Trumpet and Lead Guitar all highlighted through the three minute package.

“Originally the song was a slow number before I brought it into the band. We played around with it a few times and everyone added their own spin to it, which made it become the upbeat track it is today” said Vanessa Glennon.

Having recently supported The Cat Empire and Butterfingers, The Taste was also Highly Commeneded for their track ‘The Calling’ at the 2018 Queensland Music Awards.

The Taste make their return to the Sunshine Coast this weekend where they play Solbar on Friday night, supporting Sydney's Blackbird Hum, and on Sunday at The Shared, with Dosed.

'Move On' is available on streaming and digital platforms, and the accompanying clip is below.
